We are Sam and Susan Heaton – and together we’re Clear Photography – portrait and wedding photographers based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
We may have over 20 years experience photographing weddings and elopements, but we’re not just about wedding photography.
Clear can accommodate any photographic need from relaxed and fun family portraits, to capturing babies swimming underwater… from bump-to-baby and children’s portraits to headshots and commercial images.

We’d like a portrait photographer

Our Packages are all inclusive, which means you get all the digital files. We also have a range of presentation options from prints, albums and frames to modern acrylic blocks.
How about children and baby portraits?
Our children and baby’s portrait photography is about minimal posing and direction. Letting your kids be themselves always makes for a much more natural image – where their true personality can shine through.
As with our regular portraiture – you can choose from studio, home or location shoots throughout Scotland and be guaranteed to receive our best care and superb results.
